that nagging feeling

It'll be this way all week. That feeling in the back of my mind, the pressure, the want, the need for success. The nagging feeling of making past mistakes, of not showing any improvement. Everyone knows how bad it was last year and how much improvement is needed to prove that I have changed. This weekend is my one chance to show everyone that it is a new year, last year is gone. Butterfly wings are like knives cutting up my insides - I can't take the anticipation! All week I'll be counting the hours till I get to prove to myself, my friends, and my family. It is softball season - Saturday the Newman University Jets take on the Wichita State Shockers in a showdown, and for once, I really believe we can turn this around. No more losing seasons, only victories! And it starts at 11 p.m. Let's see how the season starts!
