So as I posted in one of my earlier blogs, I mainly listen to not so popular music. Non-mainstream music. My favorites are SafetySuit, Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Hot Chelle Rae, and Something Corporate. I have been told several times that the reason I am in a sour mood a lot is because of the music I listen to. It is safe to say it is not the most positive music you could come across, but I really do enjoy it. Most of it deals with heartbreak or other depressing situations, but I really don't find myself wanting to listen to anything else. It is kind of ironic that my most listened to playlist on my iPod is called "lovely life" and it is filled with these such songs. Today I am stuck on Something Corporate. They are no longer together as a band, but the lead singer is now a part of the band Jack's Mannequin. If anyone reading this (Seth and Shelby) has read any Nicholas Sparks books, this music is exactly what I imagine when I read them. I'm not sure if anyone besides myself can relate music to books, but this is the perfect match up for me.
All of Nicholas Sparks' books are set in North Carolina, which is slightly pathetic but that is why I want to live there after school. I've heard it rains a lot there, and that is another reason I want to live there. I loooove the rain, also mentioned in one of my earlier posts. And Something Corporate is the music I listen to when it rains. Maybe that's why I relate it to his books. Noooo idea.
Onto another topic, for my birthday I got a Kindle. Best present EVER! (P.S. I successfully made it to 20 years old without getting pregnant, arrested, or any major injuries)
The first book I bought is "The Lovely Bones." I have never read it but many of my friends have and they said it was great. So I bought it. Very good decision. I'm on like chapter 3 and its sooo hard to put it down! Just one of those books.
I think my next Kindle purchase will be either a Harry Potter book or one of the Twilight books. Or any suggestions for good books are welcome!
Thanks to my dedicated readers.. all two of them :)
another P.S. I'm glad my blog family is growing
